New Connecticut Real Estate Firm in Darien Challenges the Big Brokers

RealtyQuest has opened it's first office in Darien, Connecticut and is already making a big impact in both Fairfield and New Haven counties. In just three months, RealtyQuest has sold more than thirty properties in neighborhood towns stretching from Orange, Stratford and Milford to Darien, Greenwich and Stamford.

Company founder David Epprecht is, like his biblical namesake, a David in a sea of Goliaths. His new RealtyQuest company is facing stiff competition in a field of behemoth national and regional real estate agencies with established reputations and enormous advertising budgets. "Every giant has a weakness.", says Epprecht. "Big brokers invariably become indifferent to the needs of the individual buyer or seller." That's how Epprecht plans to distinguish his firm from the competition… with a unique team approach that puts the goals of the client ahead of the agent. "In most real estate offices, every agent is out for him or herself. There is no sharing of information and resources. 'Team RealtyQuest™' is a totally different approach to providing real estate services.", according to Epprecht.

Under Epprecht's business model, agents work as a team to maximize effectiveness for home buyers and sellers. RealtyQuest agents share their resources to make successful sales. The agents also share the rewards of working together as a team. Epprecht says, "The team approach leads to quicker and more frequent real estate transactions because information flows freely within our company. David Epprecht opened the doors of his new business just after the New Year. A licensed Connecticut real estate agent for 10 years, Epprecht had always dreamed of starting his own company here in the area where he grew up. Today, the RealtyQuest office on Corbin Drive in Darien is home to 14 agents selected by Epprecht for their team oriented work ethic and customer service focus.
