Milford Connecticut is situated on one of the longest stretches of coastline in Connecticut and is home to the Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center , an 840-acre beach, park, observatory and museum. The community has an excellent school system with programs for special education and the academically accelerated. The real estate market offers everything from oceanfront estates to historical homes along the green, as well as multifamily homes and condominiums.

      Milford's charming downtown area features one of the longest village greens complete with gazebo, war monuments and lush flower gardens. A spectrum of shops and small restaurants line the green anchored on one end by a Subway sandwich store. The now nationally known fast-food franchise was founded in Milford, which is still the home of its corporate headquarters.

      Milford has an excellent school system with public and private choices. There are programs available for handicapped students and accelerated learning programs for gifted students.
