Meriden Connecticut is a community with a lot to offer. Known as the Silver City because of its silver and pewter manufacturing roots Meriden has transformed itself into a town known for its business and industry; well situated between New Haven and Hartford with easy access to major highways. The downtown has been transformed by corporate and commercial businesses while residential neighborhoods with a variety of single family homes and condominiums are positioned nicely throughout town. The schools are excellent with both private public institutions to choose from as well as a state community college and technical school.
