Claudia Tergis

Claudia Tergis understands just how unsettling moving can be. She was born in Germany and later moved to Mexico City. After living in several different homes, she now finds herself settled in Norwalk, Connecticut with her husband, two daughters, four cats and a new puppy. "Home is very important to me. Everyone needs a place where they can be comfortable. Having lived in other cultures, totally different environments… believe me,.. I realize just how disturbing relocation can be even if it's only a few blocks away."

That's why patience is so important with clients according to Claudia. "I am always very patient when people are making decisions. I want them to feel comfortable. You can't pressure someone into buying or selling because there are a lot of personal feelings involved in the process."

Educated in anthropology, languages, cultures, and early childhood education Claudia is truly a people-person. She loves matching people to their dream homes. "I try to get a feeling for what people like in the initial discussions. Then as we begin to look around, it's easy to determine what attracts them and what doesn't. I don't waste their time showing them places I know they won't like."

Claudia focuses her efforts in Norwalk, Westport, and Fairfield, and is very knowledgeable of the Darien and Stamford markets. She enjoys horseback riding, the ballet and spending lots of time at home.
