Monthly Darien Stats: Average selling price: $1,371,240. Median Selling Price: $1,003.000. Average selling days on market 100. Average percentage of asking price 90%.
In June 2009, twenty-five single family homes sold, 9 more than the previous month. The number sold is about 13% more than homes sold a year ago. The dollar volume for June '09 is 95% of the dollar volume for June '08. 8 of the 25 homes sold between 1 and 2 million dollars, 12 sold for under a million, while 5 sold for over two million. The month to month average selling price of a single family Darien home for this month, is down from a year ago, as is the median price too.
