In October of 2008, thirteen Darien homes sold, 2 more than the month before. The number sold is just a bit better than the 12 homes sold in October 2007. Dollar volume is down to about 46% of the volume recorded for the October '07. Seven of the homes sold for less than $1 million and one sold for more than 2 million. The month to month average selling price of a single family Darien home declined to 83% of the average for September and the median declined to 81%.
