Darien has 160 single family homes on the market as of April 16th, 2008. The number of Darien homes for sale now remains pretty even with last month’s number. The average asking price of a Darien single family home is $2,020,627 and the median price is $1,617,000 - up slightly from last month.
Fifty-two new single family listings have come on the market since March 1st. Twenty of the 52 homes were listed between one million and two million dollars and nineteen of the 52 were listed for over two million dollars. The least expensive Darien home is listed at $419,900 and the most expensive is listed for $7,200,000.
In addition to the 160 available Darien homes, 16 homes have an accepted offer and 27 more have gone to contract. The average asking price for these 43 homes is $1,915,174 and the median price is $1,559,000.
